Event Information

Welcome to the SDSC IceBreakers at Galway Downs. Our Goal is to provide a cost efficient platform for teams in Southern California and beyond to play equitable matches on quality fields in preparation for the 2020/2021Summer Tournaments and Season.

The SDSC IceBreakers is the perfect vehicle for players to get the “dust off the boots”, allow teammates to build chemistry and camaraderie (break the ice), and helps coaches evaluate their teams Pre-Season needs in order to enhance short and long term player development and success.

Teams will play at their 2020/21 field size. I.E.- 2010's will play 9 aside and 2008's will play 11 aside.

Our format is unique in that teams will play 3 games, either 2 on Saturday or 1 on Sunday-or vice versa.

There will be Champion's Medals, Runners Up Medals and Got Soccer points, but the real goal of the tournament is to get our players and teams in stride prior to the start of the Tournament Season.
